OUR IMPACT

Since 2019, Mouna Dreams has been working to remove barriers to education and create opportunities for children in rural Cameroon. The true measure of our impact is not only the number of children we support, but the positive changes we see in their lives every day.

Today, more children are attending school regularly, arriving prepared to learn, and believing in their ability to succeed.

Through our programs:

• More than 560 children have received educational support.
• Over 90% of the children we support now have access to textbooks and school supplies.
• 100% of our sponsored students receive school uniforms.
• More than 90% of the children in our program have their school tuition paid.
• Students who once walked long distances to school now have bicycles to help them attend classes regularly.
• Outstanding students are recognized and rewarded with tablets and educational tools that encourage academic excellence.

Beyond these achievements, we have seen a remarkable change in confidence and motivation. Children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to dream bigger. Parents are becoming more engaged in their children's education and increasingly recognize the importance of keeping their children in school.

What once seemed impossible for many families is now becoming a reality. Children who lacked basic school supplies now have the resources they need to learn. Students who were at risk of leaving school are continuing their education. Young learners are growing up in an environment where education is celebrated and encouraged.

Every backpack, every book, every tuition payment, and every opportunity provided through Mouna Dreams helps build a brighter future.

Together, we are not only changing statistics. We are changing lives.

In 2019, Mouna Dreams built and furnished the Notre Dame de l’Assomption Preschool in Lindoi, creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for young children and laying the foundation for future generations of students.

 1000 of educational materials have been distributed to students, including:

• Textbooks
• Notebooks
• Pens and pencils
• School bags
• Learning materials

These resources help children begin each school year prepared to learn and succeed.

100 of children have received school uniforms and backpacks, helping reduce the financial burden on families and encouraging school attendance.

For many children living in rural communities, distance can be a major obstacle to education. Mouna Dreams has provided 6 bicycles to students, helping them travel safely and consistently to school.

To encourage academic excellence and reward hard work, Mouna Dreams has awarded 10 tablets to outstanding students, providing access to technology and supporting digital learning opportunities.

Our impact extends beyond statistics. Every tuition payment, school uniform, bicycle, and tablet represents a child who has been given a better opportunity to learn and succeed.

We have witnessed children remain in school when they otherwise would have dropped out. We have seen students improve academically because they finally had access to books and educational materials. We have watched families gain hope knowing their children have opportunities that once seemed impossible.

While we are proud of what has been accomplished, our work is far from finished. 1000 of children in rural communities still face barriers to education and opportunity.

With the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, Mouna Dreams will continue to expand its reach and create lasting change for children and families throughout Cameroon.
