My name is Liliane Bisseck, founder of Mouna Dreams.
I was born and raised in Cameroon and moved to the United States as a young woman. In 2018, after nearly 20 years away, I returned to Cameroon and visited the village of Lindoi. What I saw changed my life.
Many children lacked access to basic educational resources, and some were unable to attend school at all. I knew I could not turn my back on them.
Inspired by the values of generosity and service that my father instilled in me, I decided to take action. In 2019, I built and furnished a preschool in Lindoi, creating a safe learning environment for local children.
What began as a single act of giving quickly grew into a larger vision. I realized that one school could make a difference, but a dedicated organization could transform many more lives. That vision led to the creation of Mouna Dreams in March 2020, a Nonprofit committed to providing education, healthcare, and hope to children in underserved communities.
Today, Mouna Dreams continues to support children and families in rural Cameroon, helping them build brighter futures through access to education and opportunity.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
